Why? because the business who offers free shipping, does not pay the shipping cost for you from their pockets, they include the One Flat Shipping Cost in their item's price. For Example: there are 2 customers; A and B. Customer A is in New Jersey, Customer B is in Texas, and the Shipper is in New York City. Item's price is $10 and it's weight is 8Lbs. UPS is charging $6 for New Jersey and $9 for Texas. Now, Shipper adds Item Price and Shipping ($10 + $9 = $19) and show on their website that the item's price is $19 plus Free Shipping. What Happens? Customer B is paying the exact shipping charges whatever the Shipper pays to UPS, but Customer A is also paying $9 in shipping, whereas the UPS is charging only $6 for New Jersey. Here, the Customer A is paying $3 more and the Shipper is saving $3 by saying that the Shipping is Free. That's why we charge the UPS real time charges. Every customer pays us the shipping amount exactly whatever we are paying to UPS for the customer's order. No hidden and extra shipping carges

Accepted Methods of Payment

We accept Visa, mastercard, and Discover. No American Express. We also accept personal & corporate checks (with a 10-day hold for the check to clear). We also accept Paypal, you may ask us for the paypal ID.

Shipping Time

The time needed to ship the merchandise varries depending on the deliver location and the particular time of the year. Customers may expect a 3-5 day delivery time.

Damaged Shipments

Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier (UPS). If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.

Return Merchandise Policy

Permission for any return merchandise must be taken from our return department. You have 30 days from the shipping date to receive refunds. You must email the refund request to info@horsesaltlicks.com (with 'RETURN' in the subject line). At that time, the Return Authorize Number (RA#), with return instructions will be sent to you. No Return Packages will be accepted without a Return Authorize Number written clearly on the Return Package. Products being returned must have a RA# issued before returned.

If you received different product than initially purchased, the item must be returned with the following:

All original contents (product, instructions etc)
Original packing
Original invoice or receipt

Once a return is authorized by our Return department you should:

Return the item to the address given to you by our return department
Write the Return Authorize Number clearly on the box or package
Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of Returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) oe with a value of over $100 should be insured. We can not be held liable for Return merchandise that does not reach our Return department.

We can refund shipping costs only if the Return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
